To provide a forum for our members to promote professional and environmentally sound hazardous materials management practices, including chemical recycling, treatment, storage and disposal for the protection of human health and the environment.

To promote communication with the public, regarding sound hazardous materials management practices.

To maintail close liason with the Ohio Legislature, the OEPA, and other government agencies, and to be actively involved in the development of hazardous waste laws and regulation.

To provide a mechanism to collect, disseminate, discuss, consider and express opinions on laws and regulations, which would have an impact on recycling, treatment and disposal practices.

To help members inform their communities about th economic and environmental benefits of professional recycling, treatment and disposal practices.

To provide a forum for the encouragement of technical advancements which improve the safety, efficiency and overall economy of the environmental service industry, and to develop standards for the industry.
