Mission Statement

To provide a forum for our members to promote professional and environmentally sound hazardous materials management practices, including chemical recycling, treatment, storage, and disposal for the human health and environment.

To promote communication with the public, regarding sound hazardous materials management practices.

To maintain close liaison with the Ohio legislature, the Ohio EPA, and other government agencies, and to be actively involved in the development of hazardous waste laws and regulation.

To provide a mechanism to collect, disseminate, discuss, consider, and express opinion on laws and regulations, which would have an impact on recycling, treatment, and disposal practices.

To provide a forum for the encouragement of technical advancements which improve the safety, efficiency, and overall economy of the environmental service industry, and to develop standards for the industry.
